I found this on the Shirley McKie forum and just need to post it here.
If ever the credibility of SCCRC was in doubt it is this case.

Absolutely Shocking

Lets hope these police are not only charged with Perjury but they recieve a very heavy sentence as a deterrent to other liars and set up merchants.
I have no doubt though that they will be well in with the bricks so to speak and be let off scot free, Maybe even a wee promotion thrown in for good measure.

I also know the two people who committed the robbery for which i was convicted.
When told their names the SCCRC must have got a big fright as they had referred the case of Ronnie Neeson to appeal court on the say so of one of the guilty ones i had named.

They told me it would be unlikely they would admit to it now and never investigated, yet they saw fit to refer Neesons Case and even though the person i had named had a long list of previous for robberies SCCRC put him forward as a credible and reliable witness in the case of neeson.

Alex Hardie, Now Dead with his wee Co-Accused who turned Queens evidence against Hardie while i was inside serving my sentence for their robbery, was used as a witness by SCCRC but they refused to even interview him in my case.

I have a crown witness statement giving an exact description of Hardie's co-Accused, About forty year old with brown hair and moustache and SCCRC still refused to investigate.
Was the reason for this, It would spoil their credibility having already put the Neeson case forward to appeal on Hardies evidence.

Who knows, Maybe Hardie has left a note somewhere or told someone who might come forward now.
