<more will follow in due course>
Also is the reason the crown will not hand over full disclosure be because of cases pending against most of the witnesses! who i can assure you after the trial were all wearing new expensive clothes.
and that most of them were drug addicts and good at breaking into houses!
anyone that knows galston it is a small close knit community.
there are mostley DSS flats for rent and a lot of people that are released from hmp kilmarnock settle there because they can't go home for one reason or another.
eg drug debts exc.
Also in the weeks before mrs irvines Murder there was a lot of tie ups in the east ayrshire,.and after as well in and surrounding the Irvine valley.
I will print them when i visit the Dick institute to look at the archives.
it is a slow process as it is all on reels and time consuming.
if anyone doesnt know about the killie2 case, there was dna found that did not belong to brendan dixon or patrick docherty,
also brendan is a size 8. and patrick is a size 7 while the footprint was a bigger shoe size than either of them.
also brendan does not smoke and patrick smokes rolling tobacco so who put all the cigarettes . in mrs irvines driveway.
A Witness Stated in court that Brendan had a bath in detol! then outside in shortlees a few hours later that it was bleach.!
then told a source after giving evidence, i have been informed that this witness had a shower. this witness stated if her evidence didn' get brendan a life sentence nothing would. the
source is from shortless where said witness stay's.

who is responsible for this mess, the crown or police.what appears to have been a suspect was allowed to take the witness stand to give evidence, yet he was not questioned about why he was outside the murder scene.why was the witness who seen him not called to give evidence, why did police not question him.someone must be held responsibe for this and the guilty party must be brought to justice for murdering meg.

Anyone with any sense of justice, truth and intelligence, knows that the conviction of these two men are seriously flawed. We now have two possible suspects who have at some point, and with no explanation, became police witnesses. Both identified round the locus of the crime on the day of these tragic events by two independent and reliable witnesses. Unlike the disreputable witnesses used by the crown to put forward third party hearsay evidence, with alleged confessions. The truth will out and those responsible should be very worried as once these men have cleared there names, the spotlight that will be put on them ant it will leave no stone unturned to get Margaret Irvine justice. It is for that reason that it is commendable the amount of people who have came forward to help with the defence of these two men.

I confess to have taken little interest in this case in its early stages. However, the more I see/read about it, I see it as increasingly worrying that the authorities are getting a very easy ride to date.I can't help being uneasy re this one. This may well be yet another questionable issue re the integrity of the Scottish Justice System, and we should ALL be concerned here. I wish all parties fighting this get justice.....through a total complete and independent review !!

To anybody who believes in truth ad justice should be screaming from the rooftops about this case, it stinks to high heaven. All the evidence points to a number of individuals local to the village, none of them connected to Dixon or Docherty. The Police investigation was a disgrace, that make the Keystone Cops look professional. AS MM from Ayrshire points out why was the chief suspect allowed to become their chief witness for 9 months, then when proved to be a liar he is charged on spurious grounds, which allow him to walk at trial. The Police Officers in this case should hang their head in shame for allowing the murderers of an 91 year old woman to get away with it. Hopefully at the appeal justice will be served, but what about the Killers, who have already been afforded protection by the upholders of the law in that part of the country. This case will need an outside force to investigate both to find the killers and the Police who are responsible for this horrendous situation, lets hope we can get an independent police complaints commission in Scotland to help put the faith back into our already questionable justice system

Lord hardie demanding to the lord advocate to hand over disclosure or face Contemp of court.
Murder suspects freed on bail after Crown's witness statement error
ARNOT MCWHINNIE
FOUR brothers accused of murder were freed on bail yesterday after the Crown failed to provide more than 100 witness statements to the defence.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that some of the 121 statements, which remained undisclosed by prosecutors until the trial began, could have been of major importance.
The judge, Lord Bracadale, called a temporary halt to the proceedings and set the four brothers free on bail pending a new trial early next year.
Friends and relatives of 29-year-old Michael Lynch, of Kennedar Drive, Linthouse, who was allegedly stabbed to death by the four brothers and another man who was already on bail, were furious as the accused walked from court.
A family friend, who asked not to be named, said: "It is beyond belief that a mistake by the Crown should allow the four accused, who have been in custody on a murder charge since the end of June, to be freed.
"They will doubtless enjoy a better Christmas dinner than they would have in custody."
Yesterday's case was the third murder trial in a few weeks to hit the buffers for the same non- disclosure reasons.
The problem was first identified last month in a trial before Lord Hardie, who made a legal order requiring the Crown to hand all statements in the case to the defence team within 24 hours. When the Crown failed to do so, the furious judge threatened to hold Scotland's new Lord Advocate, Elish Angiolini, QC, in contempt of court for what he described as an "apparent act of defiance".
He was told that the Crown had no failsafe system of checking statements to be disclosed.
Yesterday, Lord Bracadale - who had earlier described the Crown's failings as "lamentable" - told the jury who had sat since last week without hearing any evidence that they were being discharged. He said: "Statements are usually disclosed at an early stage well before the trial.
"In this case, there has been a serious breakdown in arrangements and a vast amount of material has been produced by the Crown after the start of the trial."
He told jurors: "The experience is likely to leave you with a poor view of our criminal justice system in operation, but it is rare for cases to go as badly off the rails as this case did."
The prosecutor, Peter Hammond, revealed that a working party involving police and Crown officials was currently trying to develop a new system to ensure disclosure in all future cases.
The five men accused of murdering Mr Lynch near his home on June 23 this year are Christopher Donohoe, 16, and brothers Craig Hulley, 21, Graham, 19, Mark, 18, and Andrew, 16. In granting them bail, Lord Bracadale ordered that the brothers were tagged and under curfew between the hours of 7pm and 7am.

Witnesses i also know for a fact that at least 5 of the witnesses against brendan and pat were police informants.
the defence did not call any witnesses on brendan and patricks defence why?
because they thought it was a joke.
Also there were witnesses
that phoned the police to give a statement and the police never got back to them.
also the house brendan went to 29th september there were 2 people in black visited that house.
is there a record of this ? as in court nobody visited the house was said
also brendans previous lawyer, also received phone calls but the callers would not leave contact numbers. one even had to move from galston over it!
on 29 of september and 30th september spraypaint was doubt over a local shop in galston stating so and so was getting killed this can be found through bbc scotlands archives all i will say is brendan and patrick's name was not the one mentioned.
